With the recent news that Teddy is about to sign for life, I was having a look at the NRL.com site and it has the below list as the Roosters current contract status. It will be interesting to see how the negotiations play out for Friend, Hutchison & Lam - all off contract this year, along with the Morris boys, Aubbo & SBW (whose future we know).

we need to sign guys by nov 1 if we want to be sure of keeping them, so that means we have to juggle toops, angus, sitili, sammy v and billy smith (and i think freddy lussick).

Didn't hesitate to push some Newcastle players around.

I know we're often tagged as the 'Glamour Club' but a little bit of agro shows other teams it isn't a self appointed title.

The Morris brothers should cover 2021 and that's it.

SBW is up in the air, but he will return in the long term.

That leaves Lam and Hutch - not sure what will happen there, given the outlook for Flanno. Hutch is probably even less certain than Lam, but we cannot have superstars everywhere I suppose.

We need to prioritise, which we already do so well anyway.

I think there was a guy named Victor Radley who was a bench player in the U20’s who got his opportunity when a kid with all the wraps Grant Garvey got injured & guess who now is a household name & guess who isn’t.
Luca Moretti played Australian school boys in League & Union in the same year & would not have been signed by the Chooks if he wasn’t special. That’s my opinion anyway.
