plays a bit like WFH aggressive and does concede a few penalties - be interesting how Robbo uses him as its a inexperienced bench - 1 player with 1 NRL game/ 1 with 4 / 1 with 18 and one Bailey on debut

Hopefully we are singing his praises by the end of the game.... not cursing his name

One of the highlights of the night for me came even before the kickoff.

It was during the Lone Pine commemorative service and playing of the Last Post. Maxy Bailey standing next ro Robbo arms embraced during the ceremony. What a moment for him.

That will be a first game memory for Maxy that sticks forever I'd say.

I like Mad Max, young, raw, tough and uncompromising. Has an error in him but what young firebrand doesn't?....

He was completely gassed 10 minutes after coming on. I suspect the speed of the NRL was a shock.

Robbo's comments about him in the presser were heartfelt though, Robbo talked about the amazing opportunity he had to be able to realise a blokes dream of play one game of NRL.

Ive already nick named him the killer he did a killer tackle on someone yesterday. His short stint was good and he didnt concede that penalty yesterday where a stmerge player kneed it out

I think he only had started training for the presidents cup in late June and didn’t even get to play a game of that which started in July - I thought his match fitness would be a challenge but he dug in deep

Did well in his short stint, the hit on Dufty was nice. He didn’t let the error affect him either which was good to see.

Being at the ground last night, I could see him come off after 10 minutes. He was spent! Looked like he was almost dry-reaching.

                          Rigors of first grade huh?

Saw that too. He looked like he would collapse once he got past the side line. I think he had about 100 of his family and friends there. The noise from the far corner of the stand where we were was pretty loud when he came on and got involved.

How good are the Roosters going in getting blokes to the club for peanuts that are very good players.

Gotta remember probably his first game in 4 or 5 months as well.

Just went full pelt from the 1st second he hit the field.

I hope he gets another crack. Awesome attitude.
