There is no way the Roosters are that bad, the Dogs last year set new BENCHMARKS in points conceded, missed tackles and sets (non)completions.

We were shit like no other NRL team has ever been shit.
We've still got a way to go this year...& it is only gunna get worse for us chooks..

    Wait 'til the implosion happens..

I would be laughing more but i've run out of anti-depressants..

We are not only THAT BAD..We are in fact worse..

The Titans & especially the Cowboys were severley depleted through injuries & Origin & we couldn't beat them..

Would we have gotten close to those 2 sides with their main guys back?..

We are just as bad as the dogs were last year..

38 years & i'm finally gunna see us get the spoon

I love Uncle Nick, but he has clearly taken his eye off the ball..
Now brother you know my feelings, you know how I feel about how we are going, you know we laughed and we knew wed lose that game (I dont even want to ask if youve rang Mr Cowboy).

But to be fair we had at least 7 1st graders missing last night. Mini, Shrek, Mason, Myles, Sa, Jaubs and Brown. We had 8 blokes Under 21yrs old, most of them only played a handfull of games. One 24 yr old on debut. And Soli and Maubs just back from long layoffs.

The Cowplods had 4 biggies out in Thursthead, O'Donnell, Bowen and Tonga. But the Foxwitts said it about 4578 times. Not ONCE did they mention we in fact had more players out.

Besides being off the pace mentally and physically we have an extreemly young team.

If I had my way though Id rather see us lose close ones with some good kids showing some real fight and potential than be almost full strength and getting hammered weekly, as was happening before.

Id say like last week we arent THAT bad, not as bad as we were. I hope Freddy just picks Williamson and Towers now, give em all a licence to attack, and try to get some combos going for next season. I dont care if I see Mini, Mason, Shrek, Sa, Soli playing again this season.

Would be nice for the kids to dig us out of a certain spoon. It would give them alot of confidence for the future.

You'd think we'd start playing to avoid the spoon.

Personally I don't care if we get the spoon; it might be a wake up call for the 2010 outfit.

You know Lozz I agree, I dont really care if we get the spoon.

As long as we LEARN as a club from it, like the Boggs did last year.

They recruited specific players, proven players with attitude and that will to compete. Blokes whove been winners for the majority of their carrer, blokes who HATE to lose. Hungry blokes who have something to PROVE.

No more buying blokes cos they happen to come onto the market or targetting blokes who are moving for more money alone.

Theres some good youngsters at this club, we badly need expierence and speed in key positions, especially at 9 and the outside backs.

The coachings a bigger worry. I am not convinced Kearney is the answer. I am of the opinion we need expierence in there, not another rookie.

I agree with Kearney, I know he won the World Cup and all but how much of that was actually Bennett? I'd be more happy to someone like Graham Murray to come in, he has a proven record with building up teams. I know he failed at origin but like I said his strength is building up teams and I think he'd have a field day at the chooks, we've got so many people who need a kick up the arse and so much potential in our juniors.

I dont know about Murray mate, weve been there done that. Hes a good coach, I dont think hes very good technically though, and his sides always seem to struggle in defence. He struggled with the Cowplods and he had alot of talent up there, they always lacked direction and gameplan. Look at how theyve come good under a tactician in Henry.

At times you need to take a risk, employ someone untested at the top level. I dont know if Kearneys that good, I dont know his contribution in Melba. I dont know if its him or McGuire who I know even less about.

Id still be throwing everything we have at Gus. I reckon hed comeback if Nick wanted him. I reckon we could challenge Gus and make him want to do it again. Hes the best coach not coaching at the moment.

That or John Lang. Played here. Always taken sides to the semis and won a comp with a very young side. Gets respect from everyone hes associated with. Has that attitude of a winner.

I would welcome Lang. He is a no-nonsense person. He would get respect.

Okay maybe i was a tad harsh...but faark me how frustrating is it watching us at the moment..

I can't stand mediocrity...& accepting the last few weeks as okay reeks of it to me..

I accept we have big injury worries, but other than Mini the rest don't give a faark about the Roosters (Soli does but he can't play anyway)...So no great loss them being out anyways..

Both the Titans & Cowboys pulled down their pants & presented their dates for us to faark at will..

And our boys couldn't get it up..

                      I agree mate.

But looking at the side we ran out last night, we did OK, IMO.

We have been in the last 3 games without getting the result. Its not acceptable losing at anytime, but I believe its the weeks before that has shaped us, mentally. Losing by big margins with a much stronger more expierenced squad hurts more IMO.

Im actually looking forward to see what we can do without Bwaiff. Pearce, Jones, Friend, Pezz and even Sa must step up and take control. It would be nice to see us win a few with these blokes leading us around. We will enter next season mentally alot stronger if we can avoid the spoon from here.
