Robbo mate pretty pretty pretty PLEASE pick big dick Matt Ikuvalu over that fat plodder from England Ryan Hall. Iku's shown so much more in his opportunities and is the much younger of the two. He can also turn quickly and is competent with lateral movement. He's also scored 4 tries in 15 games compared to Hall's 0 in 8 games. Please Robbo...

Nah would prefer Ryan Hall over Ikuvalu, Ikuvalu just has far too many errors in his game and is just barely Reserve Grade standard but Hall's hit ups will be needed and lets be frank here he was an International standard footballer who did his ACL at the back end of his career he still has alot more room to improve with time but Ikuvalu is what Ikuvalu is.

I'm thinking that we may see what Hall can do with J Moz inside him on the left edge.
As brilliant as Joey is on the right side, the fact that Joey is off the cuff and unpredictable in attack makes it harder for someone like Hall to read him, and get any decent combination going.
I think Robbo has made the correct decision in moving Hall over to the left.

I dunno why we're so quick to judge Hallzy..
In the 2 games he's played this year his stats are as follows.
Avg Metres Per Game: 194
Avg Rubs Per Game: 24
Avg Tackle break P/G: 4.5
Completed 7 out of 8 tackles for a % of 88%
Not the worst stats in the NRL, especially for a 30+ yr old who isn't match fit to regular 1st grade competition.

Hall is safer than Iku, that's why Robbo (who knows a bit more about footie than us) picks him first. Hall makes good meters, has decent hands and is better under a high ball. His defence and finishing will be better on his natural side. He will improve (and he will need to up against Holmes).
