Interesting? It was 28-0 and the Broncos rested key players as they were 4 wins clear and had secured 1st on the table already.......I mean let's be honest they won the comp in a canter (would have been interesting getting that team under the cap, HAHA) even with us playing about as best as we could in the grand final.

Hahahaha good stuff JFC, Tallis’s reaction was the best of all no praise for us just waffling on about the good old days at the limitless capped donkeys just look at his face looks like he’s sitting on landmine gahahahahahaha.Originally posted by Jacks Fur Coat View PostAnother interesting stat is the Channel 9 commentators criticised Brisbanes play 137 times, while praising the Roosters on just 7 occasions.

Hahaha because nobody goes for a drop goal when they're up 28-0?Originally posted by Teddy View Post
Another interesting stat it’s the first ever 59-0 score line in the games history.
Keary's drop goal was fukking brutal ay!!! He was like looool up by 28, might as well make it 29 to absolutely give it to those poor sods.
Wonder how many games have been won by 50+ points to nil outta interest? I can't imagine there being more than 10-20 games? Winning by that much is one thing. Holding them to nil is another. Usually refs go soft, ignore a knock-on or two and award a consolation try (e.g. last week). THE BONDI WALL IS BACK!!!
It takes a severe lack of class to do that kinda shyte IMO.Originally posted by Teddy View Post

Even Seybold (who had no voice after that game) was able to front an interview and say:
- The coach owns that result.
- It wasn't the young or the old who screwed up and it's not the score I'm the most worried about, it's our lack of effort/attitude.
- They played well... there is a reason why they are back to back premiers.
Yes he kept falling back on this 'we had $4 million worth of talent on the bench' excuse (somebody better check their books if Turpin, Fifita and Pangai Jr are worth $4 million combined!!!) However, he made it clear that that made the result harder... not people's ability to show up and at least pretend they wanna be there.
Robbo reflected on 2016 and I think that was gracious. He brought back memories of fronting the media after we'd been flogged and responding with 'yeah well Cords, JWH and Pearce are out but that's no excuse - I expected better!!! You don't have to be Cords or JWH to give a shyte and make your tackles!!!'
I waffle but there's that and then there's farking boofheads who can't say one gracious word about anything. Fark you Tallis!!! You're exactly why I watched the whole thing and popped a champers at the end... I woulda felt sorry for ya and switched off at 1/2 time if you were anybody else!!!Last edited by ism22; 06-05-2020, 08:04 PM.
