Nikorima became damaged goods because he listened the captain and not the coach. What is hard to understand about "go home"? It doesn't translate to "go watch your captain who was feeling under the weather due to unknown circumstances (I do not want to be sued) say `I have no sexuality, I'll **** anything' while dry humping a dog".

i'm not writing Flanno off yet at all. the guy is doing just fine for someone who hasn't played a dozen games of first grade. if flanno goes down hutch can do a job, defending, kicking and letting Keary run the show. verills mightn't be a half, but he's another option in the case of injury. you would have liked to have given sam walker one game this year, but for a guy who wouldn't have been playing any footy it's unlikely.

I would think that is a fair assessment. Second reco in 3 or 4 years for a young bloke. Doesn’t want to become the Dan Menzel of the AFL.

Flanno is 21 years of age & wont be at his peak till at least 27. The next 5 years is an apprenticeship.

While I am bit nervous, I would not put a line through Kyle just yet. Walker is around, sure, but I also agree that this year will not be his in terms of a first grade debut. Hutchinson doesn't fill me with any confidence, unfortunately. Even though it is not his position, I have more hope of Sam filling in if push comes to shove. Let's see how things go with JMoz and if there are any flow on affects from that.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

I'm happy we don't have patience ...or you become the titans paying Ashley Taylor 1 million per year, and bryce Cartwright lots of money for medical advice and defensive coaching.

Yeah we won't be giving him 5 years when we've given Lam 1.7 games.

I think (hope) Mick was taking the Pearce.

I am hoping that Walker has more potential than Nikorima. Judging by the hype you’d hope so.

Walker not likely to play any football in 2020 - there will be no reserve grade or 20s resuming this year. Unless they play him in a Ron Massey Cup team (unlikely, but no footy for a year is a big set back) ...are the Rooster's affiliated with any teams? Maybe Asquith by default of them being linked with the Bears I guess.

The coach also watched Lam play lower grades and sees him at training everyday, so I think he has seen enough of him to know whether he is the right option. By your logic, no player who hasn't played first grade has been given a fair go until they have actually played first grade for 'X' number of games. 'X' being the number of games you think it takes a first grade coach to assess whether they can be determined to be first grade material.

Have you ever considered that Lam hasn't shown enough in reserves or training to warrant having more of a go in First Grade ahead of other options? I am quite prepared to back Robbo's judgment on this.

Well said about Robbo's judgement. He doesn't miss much.

I also think if Hutchison was to start in numerous games for us we would be absolutely farked
Hutcho could barely scrape a game at the Dragqueens. That gives u an indication of his calibre.
Still - better than Lam at this time. The people calling for Lam have rocks in their head. Probably the same folks who rated Hastings over Pearce.
