Plot to get Maloney a year early?

It crossed my mind that while there does not appear to be many brilliant minds amongst my fellow forum members, as a collective (cacophony) many things could be achieved.

In this spirit (Jim Beam of course), a concerted effort* to gain a release for Maloney in 2012 would be beneficial.








* N.B.
Concerted effort refers to absolutely zero effort and supplies a reason to come out with absolute rubbish in an attempt to shorten both the pre and 2012 seasons.....

If we got Maloney this year we would have to play him at lock since we have Anasta training at 5/8 this year.

Greg pritchard from the Herald made musings toward this happening, i think it is more the Roosters trying rather than it actually happening.

Expect Maloney in 2013 unless we get a real wheeler and dealer to negotiate otherwise......Max Markson, are you avaliable???

Yeah we can only hope. Although it is fantastic we are gearing up for 2013 I think a lot of us would love to see the team give it a good crack next year. If we had Maloney we might have a chance.

Well there seems to be a good vibe coming out of the club, which is always good, i don't know, i thnk we will see some really good things in 2012.........Maybe it is the left over optimisim from the last 4 games of 2011 or maybe it is the beer i just had going to my head.....Either way, i like it !

If I am correct I am pretty sure Baloney Maloney had an option to play on in 2012 and he took it so he couldve left if he wanted to.

I am pretty sure i read an article this morning in the Herald where Maloney asked for an early release from the Warriors which was rejected by the Club,meaning he will have to see out his contract..
I have pasted it below.



"Maloney's manager, Wayne Beavis, said yesterday that while Maloney had recently applied for a release from the final year of his contract at the Warriors, only to be refused, he did not anticipate the player making another application."

Let the bloke honour the contract that he has for this year at the Warriers. Then welcome him in 2013.

The Warriers club have been fair and reasonable in giving Maloney consent to sign with us as early as he has (otherwise he'd have to wait until after 13 I think). I don't see why they should give any more ground, especially since the guy they've bought to replace him isn't arriving there until 2103 himself.

Just be grateful Maloney has chosen us over the Vermin Filth for 2013 (very smart move) and be happy with the situation as it stands.

If yo classify scraping into te h8 as doing well, then yes we are a chance.

The guys are a good year or 2 at least away from gaining the necessary experience to make a real go of it in the top 4.

2014-15 is a long way away for some. For others with a plan it may be a perfect time.
