Does he realise you need to make tackles in rugby league and there is no standing around doing nothing?

Elite Loose forwards have the durability and tackling skills to make it in NRL. Our stocks are full but good management at other clubs should see this opportunity

I enjoy a bit of banter & ribbing of other codes but I love Union, watch the Crusaders every week,as well as Tri-nations etc.
Yes there is alot of standing around,or players not making tackles at stages due to lots of kick chase, but there are areas where aspects of their game & play is superior to league.I think they actually hit far harder in tackles & the kicking ability be it in general play or at goal is a step up on League. The big blokes in Union especially someone like him would thrive in NRL,as he has pace, strength & a great off load.Would need to pick up some fitness but he could easily transition.

Every club should look at a player from the All Blacks if they expressed an interest in league. He is only 26 and if you play for the All Blacks you are a freak athlete. He would make it in league no problems

                Absolutely.

If straight up trash like Keegan Hipgrave can get a gig in first grade then a beast like Ardie Savea would handle NRL no problems.

Anyone who plays for the All Blacks is a world class athlete with some serious skills to boot.

Wasn't Kurt Sherlock an All Black? I guess there is an exception to every rule!

For those who don’t watch Union, he’s a flanker and players in his position have been getting bigger in recent years and he’s being asked to bulk up a significant amount and a move to league will allow him to play closer to his natural weight. He would be a great signing for us if our second row stocks were not full.

I‘m not smart enough to understand union. The players don’t seem to understand the rules either.

As I have just stated in a related thread, I would be happy if we judge that he would be a good fit. Obviously, centre is our target / main priority but, if the conditions / circumstances are right, then we should go for it. It would be great to once again get the head start on certain other opposition clubs, as players such as this might not have been on their radars.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

If it’ll piss off Clint Gutherson as we go for a fourth consecutive title, I’m all for it.
