Yeah i'm Italian too and went through all that name calling stuff at school in the 80s and 90s. I shrugged it off because it had no real harm or venom behind it and in the end the wogs embraced it.Originally posted by zinga View Postfor all the gays poofers and wogs get a hold of urselfs lets bring folau to the roosters a free country with free speech im italian born grew up be called a wog big deal NOT lol bring back the seventies and for all u sensitive pc caffe late sipping idiots piss off
However if someone whom i looked up to publicly came out and said "all those with Italian heritage will go to hell because its written in my bible" or " droughts and fire is Gods way of punishing them for who they are & what they do- as per stated in my bible" then no i wouldn't have shrugged it off- and when your a child/adolescent this sort of stuff unfairly takes its toll mentally.
I wonder how Israel would feel if a person of some form of public standing came out and said that people of his ethnic background belong in the primate section of a zoo because if you study the work of Darwins theory of natural selection you cant deny the physical characteristics are too close for it to be just a co-incidence. Of course absolute trash.....but to a young person of Polynesian descent its a dangerous and divisive thing to say-and can have repercussions. Do we justify it by saying " freedom of speech"???
So for me its a definite no for Falou. The Roosters are way too good to have him anywhere near the club. Let Souths have him!

Slight difference from your Darwin theory example though. That would be someone drawing their own conclusions from research etc. (however wrong) as opposed to a simple quotation from someone's book of faith. I'm sure if all NRL or Rugby players social media accounts were interrogated you would find a lot worse.Originally posted by Random Rooster View Post

His comments about the bushfires however was bad form...Mundine like. However I'm not aware Anthony attracted sanctions from his sporting bodies from worse/similar shockers again.
It's the inconsistency and some hypocrisy which rankles.

Translation:
- Some incel thinks the world is too 'PC' and wants an outlet to ramble about it. They have now made duplicate threads in our footy forum, dedicated to their martyr (some extremist, bible bashing loon who thinks homosexuals are like thieves and rapists) so that they can further discuss their reactionary frustration/anger towards all things 'PC'.
Advice:
- Chill out, bro!

Gays, poofters and wogs don't bother me at all. One thing that does though, is your blatant disregard for a commaOriginally posted by zinga View Postfor all the gays poofers and wogs get a hold of urselfs lets bring folau to the roosters a free country with free speech im italian born grew up be called a wog big deal NOT lol bring back the seventies and for all u sensitive pc caffe late sipping idiots piss off

"PC"is language use (written or spoken) which takes into account the sensibilities of minorities within a culture which is only good manners or consideration of others but that meaning has been warped by the Right so that the average person seems to regard it an appropriate sneer at people who are just too precious. One ill mannered oaf's "joke" is another's deep cultural offence or in Folau's case an hysterical faux pas seeing as how his admonishments are rooted in "faith" which is another word for believing implicitly in something without an atom of evidence. Mind you the gay obsession stuff borders on hate speech and that's his main schtick, he only added fornicators, liars and drunks to deflect the flack that he should have earned. An out and out mug as you might expect to be the case with the ill educated - Gods FFS! Anyway, looks like his recruitment is gonna backfire on the Wolf Pack if the Super League reaction is anything to go by.
Also, dope that he is, he volunteered his opinions so posts like "I'm sure if all NRL or Rugby players social media accounts were interrogated you would find a lot worse" is a Red Herring. His thoughts weren't "interrogated", he was/is an out and proud ratbag - other bullies wisely keep their ignorant "opinions" quiet. Most that is, ol' Ray and Allan, are exceptions who display an amazing level of ego and arrogance. Who even wants to hear the accumulated wisdom of a Greyhound race caller with a bent copper son and it is shameful that the sexually ambiguous Parrot would excuse a buffoon who reckons he has Jesus on the mainline.

Off topic, but what's your story Paddo Colt? Maybe you've explained yourself elsewhere, but why do you post here? Clearly you know your league history, but most of your posts are more political than league-related. Did you enjoy the WCC game?Originally posted by Paddo Colt 61 View Post"PC"is language use (written or spoken) which takes into account the sensibilities of minorities within a culture which is only good manners or consideration of others but that meaning has been warped by the Right so that the average person seems to regard it an appropriate sneer at people who are just too precious. You prompted me to review some of PC's posts (Paddo Colt that is, not political correctness).Originally posted by zac View Post

I agree he's an interesting chap. Here is what I've learned in part from his posts:
The only loonies going around are those from the "right" side of politics. By implication, outlets such as the SMH and the ABC and their QA program never air biased, hateful, divisive and downright silly views expressed by their journalists and hosts. Considerateness and sensitivity of feelings are to be displayed only towards "minorities".
The science of climate change is clear cut and a definite, irrefutable cause and effect relationship between human activity and climate change has been demonstrated. Furthermore, it should be very easy for 7 billion plus humans, all of whom want to be comfortable and lead first world lifestyles, to revert to living in a neolithic age. Easy. Bill Shorten would have organised this already had he won.
Easts to win.
