Robbo in the presser seems to give the idea Friend would play. He even mentioned that Boyd played the GF in 2013 after missing the 8 weeks leading up for the GF.

We all know Robbo doesn't show his cards so why would he do it here? He gave the impression Jake is playing so the way I read it, Sam will play.

No question Verrills plays. Only question is if Friend is on the bench as well.

JB, with you on the Papali/JWH battle. It will be epic. So will BJ/'Trell.
I'm hoping BJ plays for them as he usually does something silly and his defence is ordinary. Latrell and Toops should have some space on that edge.

          Good.
Methinks we'll need to start with big players...to tackle the huuuge Raiders.

Maubs is supposed to be out, bad concussion.
Maybe Crichton replaces him and Collins comes onto the bench.

Long time ago, but his defence in 2010 was a big reason we lost that game.

Always liked BJ, can't fault his passion and effort. Hes a savage close to the line with Bateman near him. He's a Latrell prototype, and is guilty of trying too hard at times just like Latrell.

              Gunna be fun.

Papalii needs to be bashed, smashed and trashed [legally of course] at every turn.
Legally, no dumb high tackes or trips or punches...hard, fair, effective, legal tackles.

As do Hodgson, Croker, Bateman, and the rest of the team.

We were very rusty in attack against the Storm...time to fix it...Bunnings must sell some spray for that.

We need to start with big players, and bring the smaller players on later.

Gotta watch BJ and Bateman don't do that move like they did to beat the Storm...BJ ran right to the centres and flicked the ball back inside to Bateman who ran into the gap for a try.

If Friend is 100% I don’t think Verrills will be there. If he isn’t I don’t think Friend will be there. In other words, I don’t think they will both be there.

My only concern is he may bait Latrell.

BTW he would be their only player who has played in a GF.

Trell had a brief moment on Saturday night when I thought he was about to lose his cool. Hopefully he is too smart for that fat chicken nugget.

He was having his ankle twisted in every tackle and the refs were doing nothing about it.

Oh I agree. Still like to see him stay in control if possible.
