I don’t think Jake was ever going to play this week. I think Robbo put him in the reserves to put the press emphasis on Jake possibility playing and taking the press scrutiny off Sam Verrils.

He made it clear in the press conference yesterday that he’s playing by the rules and that there’s no reason to say it earlier.

Though the Keary rumour is getting some traction with the bookies now. Especially with Hutch as a reserve still.

I still think he will play but Hutch and Hall as 18 and 19 scare me. It seems to indicate there’s some truth in it and also one of the three-quarters is a risk. Otherwise there would be a forward there for sure.
