Last night's result meant nothing.

NOTHING.

In fact I'm glad we lost. There I said it. Now we don't have to keep hearing how we're aiming to become the first team in 50 odd years to win 11 straight on the way to a Premiership.

Beyond that who cares about random week to week games?

Agree on the whole. Don't think Robbo will be shaking in his boots if we face Souths again.

I'm not happy we lost last night, but when they went 6 up, and there was only time for one more try, extra time seemed something good to avoid.

Those who are worried are grossly underestimating the importance of Keary to our left edge attack.

The only thing to take away from last night's game is we still nearly beat Souths and Storm without Keary on the field. They will be pooing themselves.

I don't think Robbo will be too worried. In fairness, he was pretty magnanimous in defeat. He could have said that they were a bunch of time wasting cheats who looked broken and that if that's the best they have, then, we will steamroller them the next time we play them with a full strength team.

Now on saying all that...Cords looked shattered and so it's a good blowout for him to dust off the cobwebs. Which makes me think that if Jake comes back to the intensity of finals football, can we expect him to be 100% or could he miss a few vital tackles that could cost us.

A lot of ours didn't have great games. Victor missed a few tackles and bombed a try which probably would have ended the contest. Latrell bombed a try and gave away a silly penalty. Hutchinson is no Keary and we will benefit from his return.

Bennett nothing, south's don't get that soft 4th tackle penalty in the 2nd half Easts would've crushed them, don't underestimate refs charity when it comes to south's.

All true...but as far as mistakes go I will cut those guys you mentioned plenty of slack. As long as Lindsay Collins doesn't make an error otherwise he goes straight back to seconds and gives his GF ring back.

Nope but since 2013 Robbo has won 2 premierships and what... 4 or 5 minor premierships? Skeletor has won nothing.

If we had played our full strength team on Thursday and won it'd be 8-8. So let's please drop the notion that Skeletor has it all over Robbo.
