  • Final placing

Looking certain the Storm get the minor prem... Right now as it sits, one more win and we are def top three.
By my calcs... Double check this....
Third will see us playing in Canberra as they are the only team that can pass us into second.
Two more wins, and we are second with third place tbc.
This will be either Canberra, souths, Manly or Parra!
Got to get that next win first... Then follow up with another...

Even though the Dragons were a bit stiff today we would have to drop our guard somewhat to lose next week.

Just looking at this... If Manly win this weekend against Raiders and we win also... We have second place and a home final secured.

If the road to the GF runs through the SCG then we'll be very hard to stop.

Who would want to play us in a Prelim there? The Storm, Raiders, Manly and Eels haven't played there in who knows how long...

We will play Canberra at the SCG and pump them big time. Finally revenge for 87.

I just hope we don't see a repeat of the 2014 Penrith qualifying final where we dropped the ball big time.

No complacency and no one will beat us.

This is a totally different side. There’s steel in their eyes.

i think this team this season has the steel mindset required to go it again, they learned a lot last grand final under robbo and cronk, even a repea5r game plan might take down whoever our opponents are , if Melbourne we might adjust a touch with a healthy cronk on the field and Melbourne trying their hardest to catch and hurt him?

As opposed to the 'steal' in the eyes of Storm, Raiders and Sharks.

Now that would be mighty good.

That would be karma. No more plaster casts allowed as a secret weapon too.

Seeing their dirty tactics a few weeks ago in Canberra, I wouldn't put it past them !
Jordan Rapana the most likely to be wearing an arm cast ! ....I'm sure Mal's is still in storage at the Raiders Leagues club !

At the same time last year we were also on 32 points and had a differential of 163 (compared to 232 this year).

Obviously our attack is much better this year, but our D was only 14 pts better last year. If we can keep points conceded to less than 32 in our last 3 games our D will have been better than the Bondi Wall of last year.

Indeed. Lattrell has, by himself, scored more than the opposition in every game there bar Rnd 1 ...

                            v Broncos: Lattrell 8-4
                            v Dragons: 12-10
                            v Tigers: 26-12
                            v Bulldogs: 18-12
                            v Knights: 20-10
                            v Titans: 26-6
                            v Warriors: 18-6

We are averaging 40 points at home over the last 6 games. No one will want to face us there.

How do people feel about playing at the SCG now?
