I don't think you made those feelings known after he had a much better game the following week. Though I would be pleased to be corrected on that.

Anyway, I agree that Morris will come back in but that will only be to keep the seat warm for Hall I believe.

You started the thread on March 29th, the following game was on April 4th. I don't think I even knew if Matt was going to play when I made the post. I wouldn't wait until the following game, because it was the whole idea of you starting the thread which pissed me off.

this is typical of the modern keyboard warrior going and bagging a young bloke who loves the club and had his 5th game for us. Also, the more I watch Ikavalu, the more he reminds me of Sam Perrett. I hope these young players don't come onto these forums and social media post match, it's constant head noise which they don't need. I have great faith in our clubs coaching staff to put the right 17 on the park each week. Thankfully they're the ones picking the squads and not the CP Forum

After Iku's horrible games playing for the Bears, and against Parra, the turnaround has been quite spectacular. Well done young man.

Morris must be getting closer. But looking forward to seeing Ryan Hall. I'd say like most of us,, missing Fergo.

Honestly, after the last few games I think Brett Morris might struggle to get back into the squad.

Fair call. Ikuvalu's kick return at about the 28th minute was lethal. Doubt Morris or Hall have that kinda pace.

Morris will probably get the spot as he has safer hands + strength/experience that probably woulda bagged at least 1 try from the positions Ikuvalu had in that first half. Ikuvalu's the future though so no real reason to stop blooding him with experience while he's winning!!!

That said, I'm glad I'm not Robbo having to pick...

Matt made a couple of errors under pressure today, but also did a lot of very good stuff. Some very strong runs when we needed them. And some great takes... overall another good performance

He's one of those low cost no frills players that you need to pad out your top 25. He will never be a superstar but can be relied upon to give us an effort every time he plays
