  • Put it this way

First of all I just wanted to disclose that I'm not a Roosters supporter, but I agree the Slater decision is an absolute farce, we all know that.

    BUT

Imagine how good it would be for you guys to beat them on GF day with him in the team as opposed to him being there?

If the Roosters win without Slater there everyone carries on about how he wasn't there. If you win with him there it's an even more memorable victory.

The Roosters have the defence to do it. Stay positive, and I'm sure justice will be served!

Thanks Moose....Ive been trying that line here myself, but some are in outrage mode and will not be deterred.

I agree with the OP and was talking with a friend about the same thing.
If Slater was not playing then Storm go in with all the support as they were hard done by.
This win will be so sweet although it will be hard without Cronk.

Thanks Moose. I’m outraged as well. This is a case of the ‘faceless Men’ running the NRL. Who was really behind this decision we don’t know. All we know is that it was shamelessly corrupt openly for all to see. Thanks for the support.

Well said Sproose. Now that billy is free, the drizzle will have no excuses, and any possible complacency within the Roosters will be banished.

In relation to the decision, I feel for the Ackerman family.

Glad you raised Ackerman family, LR. Whatever we are feeling, they would be devastated and feel their son and brothers death in vain. Respect goes out

Axe, the NRL have betrayed the Ackerman family with this decision and I suspect no mention will be made of James by the NRL power-broker scum.

                    Karma works in mysterious ways.

The NRL wants Melbourne to win for Billy's send off.

They've appointed their chief fixer in Sutton.

                    Everyone is tipping them.

So watch for us to spoil the party.
