Question on Carney

If Carney goes to France for the Sup Leauge Season, will he still be available to the roosters for 2012 ?

Smith has stated that he wont select him again THIS SEASON !

Does that mean he will consider selecting him next season ? and will he still be contracted to the roosters for next season ? ie if he goes to frog land will that be a loan deal and a trip to isolation for a few months for Carney then back to us for 2012 if hes a good boy ?

Apparantly will be back for the 2013 season,he will play super league in 2012..
Hence the reason why i believe it isnt really worth it for our Club,he will be 27 years old by then and im sure we could develop one of our u 20's kids by then (ala littlejohn)..

carney is like a fine wine, currently a bit rough around the edges, too much ink gets a bit oaky, but i think hell become a world beater again with a little more aging, dont forget he wont get bashed as much in esl as he does in nrl, so injuries may be minimal, although his groin may get a workout in france?

It has been well documented Carney has always been on the piss including last year, and his stint in Atherton. Noyce even admitted he knew Carney was back on the piss for the last few weeks but didn't act upon it. Clearly the roosters have accepted Carney is a pisshead as long as he doesn't break the law or club rules.

IMO France won't fix a thing. The only way Carney can remain at the club is if the Roosters grow some balls and get rid of silly club rules which the players hate and ignore anyway, and tell the media and drama queens to go f*ck themselves. That is what Manly would do and why they have great team comradery.
