It would save on bandwidth too. While I get that people wanna try to crawl up the Google ladder, in essence you cannot because it ranks things based on your usage. FWIW my forum has zero spam. I’d say the secret is:
- Use https
- Keep your forum software up to date
- Dont bother with Google ads (there is no profit from them other than maybe 10c a month, they increase spam and they reduce the usability of the forum)Comment
