That's a bit harsh, if only because it's unfair to compare a player who played for two years with one who's played nine games. You'd have to wait a bit longer to make that type of call.Originally posted by 200 IQ View Post
He’s playing like Fatty Vautin for us
One reason we bought Cooper was to improve our performance in semis so, so long as we make them, it seems sensible to wait until the end of the season to assess his impact on the team.
I don't think he's playing poorly, and has done some very good things (including a brilliant try-saving tackle on Nene Macdonald, showing his commitment to the team). He has done some great things in his career, and surely it's possible that he has a few highlights to come.Last edited by zac; 05-08-2018, 11:37 AM.

Because he's usually surrounded by opposition players every time he's got the ball.Originally posted by Adam Stone View PostOnly one question: Why can't Cronk play as good as he talks?
Aside from being critical of our dummy half and some of our play the balls, I swear our opponents often have a smaller 10 metres than us...............but that might be my slightly biased eyesight.

Didn't know it was in cronks contract to have to be leading the comp and dally ms by round 9. This is elite level sport. Two months into the competition. Save the judgement for the seasons end. It's laughable to suggest we won't make the 8. There's about two or three teams going better than us at the moment and we have more improvement in us than any side in the comp.

Gee I wish I was a s confident as you. As Ive said previously We are going terribly as a team After nine rounds I see nothing on the field, apart from from the names we have on paper to suggest we will mount a serious challenge this year.Originally posted by Bigchook View PostDidn't know it was in cronks contract to have to be leading the comp and dally ms by round 9. Do you just copy and paste your posts from one thread to another? Are you devoid of any ideas or have you exhausted the 3 brain cells God had endowed you with? You’ve become a bigger bore than you were , and that’s saying something !!!!Originally posted by King Salvo View Post
Showing nothing for the Chooks so far one has to honestly say - Sterlo even said he see's no difference in the Chooks in signing Cronk and letting Pearce go - I can we played better with Pearce at half and Gordo at Fullback - Tedesco has also been a major disappointment after 9 rounds.
Keary is way down on last years form as he doesn't know what is role is anymore. Cords - well someone needs to get a passing/offload game into him as his game has really stagnated - this solely running game is too easy for the defence to read.
I would suggest when Crichton comes on board next year Cords will struggle to hold a spot in the team - Matto does have passing and balls skills if allowed to use them- Cords will be battling for a bench spot with Maubs in 2019 I suggest.

Most people would look at the storm and say they are the real deal this year and likely to go back to back. Our fans look at us and say we're likely to miss the 8. Yet here we are 9 rounds in and both on 10 points.Originally posted by Andrew Walker View Post
