Has Cronk even made a line break this year?
Exactly what I was saying elsewhere. I would love to see him run at the line. It’s something Pearcey was never afraid to do.

I get the feeling this is going to be like watching Mini in his final years all over again.

I still love watching him play even if it is for another club.

I think you'll be hungry, nowhere near a top 8 team atm, like it's been mentioned we started last year new 6 and 1 and clicked well, one game from a gf, yeah let's make wholesale changes pffft

Pearce is out for 16 weeks and now plays for the Knights mate. Cronk plays for us and did make a break tonight his time will come. (Speedy recovery junior )

He was horribly slow today, and I don’t classify his half run through the line as a line break..
He doesn’t have the speed to get out the other end unfortunately

Cronk was the wrong call for us. I’ve said it along. It was painfully obvious today. Tried his heart out but is past his best and out of his element with us. All he had was the inside chip for Tedesco which is just a hail mary, and nothing else.

Pearce was not the problem with us and our worst fears are being realised, we have let a good player go who was just coming into his prime for a guy past his best who has played in the same structure all his career and not suited outside of it.

My worst fear Maxy, I just can't believe it.

Cronk is a complete DUD without Cameron Smith and Slater. Storm are playing well without Cronk but Cronk is hopeless without the Storm. Cronk is like a fish out of water. Pearce would have done a lot better as Cronk just doesn’t seem to be able to adjust. I was glad we bought Cronk but I’m beginning to have second thoughts. So far, I don’t see how our multi million $ purchases have done anything except waste a lot of money. Hope I’m wrong.

I agree here. I just commented in another thread the team is missing the speed that Pearce has.

As was said of Peter Sterling "It's speed between the ears that counts". Our team is missing co-ordinated TEAMWORK.

Dude he chose to leave, the club stated they were happy for him to stay irrespective of what people say that he was forced to ask for a release ect... He could have became our new dummy half and reinvented his career at Hooker, he could revitalised his rep career at the new position... We will never know... We didn't let him go he left.....

Storm don’t seem to be missing Cronk much
I guess they have a smart Coach who readjusted the team structures and got back on the horse

                              Don’t call me dude.

We effectively let him go. He’s a very good halfback he’s already proved that at the knights. Asking him to play second fiddle to Cronk or move to another position was as good as letting him go. It’s just being disingenuous to suggest otherwise

Incredible. Bellamy knows how to get out of the way and allow the team to play what they need to play to get on top.

also willing to make the big calls by dropping key players out of form (Croft)

                                Robbo needs to follow suit
