When watching the RLWC final, when Cordner scored running a great line off a great Cronk pass to put him through, I thought we’d see this play time and time again and they’ll develop a very good partnership..yet we have seen hardly anything of the sort.

yes our forwards have been our biggest worry but when given the chance our attack has been so predictable with the same block plays. We have options everywhere with Cordner,Tesedco and Mitchell running off Cronk and Keary..yet for some reason it’s just not clicking and you can see the opposition know what they’re going to do. Lots of work to do

The only thing I miss about Pearce is his passing game close to the line.

Wish he would have stayed and played Hooker a far superior passing game to the garbage Friend dishes up, I understand why he left but wished he stayed.

I understand too, but it could have been glorious. Better than chucking Anastasia at lock to accommodate Carney.

Tho at the time I thought that was going to be glorious too.

Wasn't Cronk who threw that pass it was Michael Morgan....

Cronk typically likes to use his second rowers to set up a play by hitting them on an unders line, getting a quick play the ball and then running a short side play. Or he uses them as a wrap around play. You won't see him putting them through a hole all to often, not to say that it won't happen at all but it's not something he actively looks for like Pearce used to.

          Just different players.
