Anyone suspect Politis might make a sneaky play for Bellamy, now that he has stated there is a good chance he won't be coaching the Storm next season? Nothing would surprise me.

Because they know their head coach won't humiliate them by dropping them for "ongoing" substandard performances. Loyalty only gets you so far.Originally posted by Thirteen View PostI hope so. I love Robbo as a character but he rarely gets an 80 minute performance out of this lot.

100% we are chasing Bellamy, and I am certain he would make a difference, but my vote goes to Geoff Toovey, he did a great job with Manly and got a raw deal. I think he is the man to get some guts and no nonsense determination in our team. No tougher player eve laced on a boot. Any giant forward would have to be inspired by the bloke. This game is 90% guts and heart and he has plenty. Plus he would be half the price of Bellamy and we wouldn't have to play like robots and work out ways to cheat the system. I honestly don't think I could follow a team Bellamy coached, even if they made top 4 every year

Why wouldn't he?Originally posted by Cockadoodledoo View PostAnyone suspect Politis might make a sneaky play for Bellamy, now that he has stated there is a good chance he won't be coaching the Storm next season? Nothing would surprise me.
There are some on here that think Robbo will decide when he leaves, not Politis.

It is funny that you say Bellamy would never leave the Storm, like of course Bennett would never leave the Bronco's. Then you suggest something which has never happened in the 110 year history of the Roosters, someone being coach for decades. There is more chance of you coaching the Roosters than Robbo coaching the club for decades.Originally posted by Maxy Walker View PostYou’re all off your heads. Toovey? Lol. Bellamy would be no chance either. He wouldn’t quit the storm for another head coaching job and his record since 2013 is no better than Robbo anyway.
Robbo it will be. Probably for decades to come....
