The REAL Issue

Everytime we lose we have a bunch of hysterics getting out the pitch forks against Friend... frkn silly... Friend has errors in his game he shoudl fix sure... but how the fk can you focus on 1 man when the entire team showed little to no fkn interest almost the entire game? at one point Souths were breaking through at will... and our boys were falling off like a bunch of amatuers... That is a HUGE issue! bigger then a friend brain explosion... i dont give a shit if we had the best hooker on the planet we will FAIL if we do not show up to play... its a team problem that needs to be fixed asap.. no sacking will fix this... this comes down to the entire team pulling there heads in and giving a shit... and im sick and tired of all the blame constantly being thrown at a select few.

enough blame to go around i believe, but i think friends ones come in the most critical of times like on the front foot and he goes blind and kicks it on goal on the full which leads to a try. as the captain he is consistently poor sets no standards for anyone else, gets waved awayfrom the referees while acting like a toddler and has faced 0 repercussions for his horrendous form and everyone is reminded of it every time he buggers up which is a lot. plus it doesnt hurt to have a scapegoat

I agree! he isnt playing well by any means... but every loss everyone on this forum puts everything on him.... i saw a teaam out there tonight who didnt give a shit for 80% of the game... a mentality of "When we get the ball... we will score easy".... and this isnt the first time... people on this forum refuse to actuaally break down the issues or taslk footy... all i see is "Fk off friend" "Sack robbo now!!!!!"

i agree 100 percent. Selfish error from our skipper. If he is our leader he should be leading at the front with his actions which he clearly isn't. So i think criticism is warranted for friend.

nothign wrong with criticism... its the blind hate and lack of seeing every other issue the team has thaat is annoying... everyone is so full of blind hate that it makes this place unbareable after a loss... there is zero footy talk.

him and Pearcy knew each other’s games so well, he doesn’t trust Cronk, much like he didn’t trust Hastings

i personally would do what the tigers did with Farah, go to Wyong and your going to stay there. He is not explosive or creative enough and his service is the worst of any dummy half in the comp
at some point you need to pull the trigger and bows the tome

he is not the only reason we lost, our middle forwards were dominated big time tonight. If Napa was that enthusiastic at the start of the game it may have been a bit different.

Definitely wasn't Keary's best night but his form up until now has been exemplary. Friend has been a liability for a long time and offers little other than a heap of tackles. If you want to lump Keary along side Friend then go for it. I think you will find Keary has a lot more credits in the bank than Jake

Yep they weren't good tonight, but I still think the big turning point was Friend's stupid short side play. We were in it right up until that moment. He's not our only problem as you have rightly pointed out, but as the player who touches the ball the most in our team I think he's one of our biggest problems
