I wasn't at the game so I'm only going on what I've read and the interviews I've seen. Safe to say we were as rusty as *^&@ and yet despite being down 16 nil we still had the nous and talent to win the game which of course is a good thing. From the Cronk interview, I get the impression that he was a bit surprised at how crap we were. The thing that I find annoying is how casual our team is, they just coast through games, there doesn't seem to be an urgency there. Their ball handling is still abysmal and this something I can't get a grip on. I'm sure when Keary and Cordner come back our team will respond. It's scary to think how good we will be when we hit our straps. All in all a couple of really scrappy trials. I had a look at the Manly fans forum and they are going on like they are going to win the premiership based on that showing last night. They with St Illawarra sox would have to be the most delusional fans in the comp. I also think we need to have Reece Robinson on the wing for his goal kicking, I would leave Manu out of the 17, I would also make Cronk the captain, my starting team would be

Agree with most except i dont want to see Fargo in centre, he' just as bad as many when it comes to reading plays except manu has the capability to improve and SSt has a better record than Robinson doesn' he

When did Robinson become a goalkicker? He is backup at best.. SST will be the goalkicker and Latrell will kick when SST is off. They are both better than Robinson.

I'm pretty sure that Robinson is an accomplished goal kicker. SST is good but he spends a lot of time off the field. One other important thing I forgot to mention is their goal line defense. I hope it improves. We won't be winning any comps if it doesn't.

Robinson's career goalkicking record is 14/27. You seriously feel confident with this? Manu defended better than Fergo yesterday and Fergo again knocked on yesterday taking a hitup off the tryline.

Radley shows massive potential and will be on the bench all year.

SST will be in Frontrow rotation. But I have reservations with Matterson, he isn't mobile enough to play edge backrow. Butcher has grown up and has a handy amount of aggression, about him.

At worst his defence is as bad as Ferguson's and his attack is ten fold better.

Understand if you don't think he's ready for First Grade, but not to play reggies behind Fergo.
