  • Training today

So my son and I were coming back from the hospital today and decided to stop off and watch the boys train and i thought i would share with you all some feedback.

    1. Jake Friend looked fit and sharp from dummy half, he was scooting out and running more than what we are used too. (i know it's only an opposed training session but he looked good).
    2. I expect by the time Rd 1 comes around Latrell will be 100% ready to rip in! He actually looked quite fit and fast and did quite well at the beep test.
    3. Keary looked sharp.

Couple of other players I wanted to give feedback on also.
    1. Sean O'Sullivan filled in at halfback and was probably the most exciting to watch on the field, scored a couple of tries, was full of energy and looked really sharp. (He also kicks goals)
    2. Bernard Lewis was very quick, he did well at the beep test and he may find himself in the team at some stage throughout the year.
    3. Don't worry about Reece Robinson, he is still very fast.

Just some observations, bring on next year.

    Cheers

You've let yourself down there a bit by actually being there and reporting on what you saw.

What you should have done is given us half a dozen paragraphs of total bollocks and innuendo, and acted as if you're 'in the know'.

Facts and proper eye witness reports rarely pass muster on the chookpen.

    Seriously though, nice work.

It's as hot as hell outside.
What are they doing training on a day like this...they'll get heat stroke!

O'Sullivan could be the No.14 for a few games. Very clever chap.

Also just remembered that Jared Maxwell was there with another who looked like a junior ref.
Maxwell was scribbling away on a clipboard and the other dude was reffing the opposed training session.

Apparently we lost the penalty count in the unopposed training session.

Were Matto and Aubo in the centers? Was Toops watching from the bench? Was Keary crying out for Bitchell?
Were Jarred and Dylan making wild love to one another on the sidelines?

Thanks for the insight. How dare you post relevant and interesting info on our forum. That’s UnCronk Pen like!

Great post. Thanks for the info. Was Poasa Faamausili part of the squad? He is still listed on the website.
