  • Screw This Crap.

    I ain't unrealistic.
All I want is an even playing field.
Tonights rubbish set a NEW standard in this hybrid game.
    The gloves can be removed.

We are being sold out by non-league type of vultures.
    F*ck these pricks!!!!!!
This current "nrl" needs to be taken down before it's too late.

Surely I can't be on me pat malone in seeing through this rort? ..................

The sport should come first, or we got nothing.

I think you'll find that teams who are at the top of the table give away the most penalties.

They should at least give up some lipstick so that we can look pretty when we're being ****ed.

You're not alone mate, ever since that 6-0 penalty count second half of that 2014 prelim I've been on the case.

But we are going to win a premiership sooner playing like 2013 (which was reminice tonight) rather than wait for those flogs who run this game to stop their bias against us. In saying that, it happens across the board, not just the mighty roosters.

How was that final between the broncos and titans last year? Absolute garbage.

Whilst I'd never say the sport is corrupt, I would say the "Integrity Unit" have a job for life

The first halves of the Cowboys and Storm games, and ALL of the Sea Eagles game.

            No ****ing words.

The refs are an opponent to overcome when they should be the impartial adjudicator.

In contrast, over the last 5-10 years can you EVER remember the Broncos getting shafted?

              Even once?

Happens to us every 2nd week minimum.

Tell me that's not a subconscious bias. Or dare I say it something even more sinister.

                    Subconscious bias......pfffft
That is the 5th lowest defence of the game manager effort we've seen from the back-trakers.

League fans who but that are open to anything.

There's a plausible logic to it too.

A team who infringes 100 times a game and concedes 10 peantlies is always going to do far better than a side who infringes 20-30 times but concedes 4 or 5 penalties. Sure 5 penalties in a game is huge but not as huge as being able to control the ruck at will over the entire 80 minutes of the game.

The reality is a referee isn't going to penalise a team proportionate to their infringements because it means sides like the Storm would be conceding unprecedented penalty counts.

The same logic can be applied to individual players, there are certain individuals in every side (JWH is ours) who continually push the letter knowing that yes they're going to concede a few penalties a game but they're not going to be penalised off the park or sin binned and once they reach their quota of penalties conceded the refs become hesitant to blow too many more.

This is the fall out of a refereeing system who are more intent on 'managing' games than just adjudicating on what they see.

By all my morals this "sport" is extremely corrupt.

The n r l is right up there with banks.
They employ people who don't have to justify their wages.

Is it just me but strange coincidence that nrl cracks down on taking attacking players out when contesting for kicks when the greatest threat in the game is injured? Toupou

Invented by short term , highly paid "business men ", who only care about close games for TV ratings, exploiting new markets, and getting out while their reputation and bank balance is still laughing.
Idiots like me, who have always supported one team, and use sport as a release...................we are not a consideration.

                              I miss Rugby League.
