Thoughts all of our boys were sensational tonight, we answered the question that we can hang with Melbourne, especially after all the rubbish calls they received tonight. We played the best we have all year, and there's no need to hang shit on anyone. They all played their arses off. If we play like we did tonight come finals time then we are a chance. So proud.

1 Melbourne are a well coached team knows every single rule but gosh the rule needs to be changed for allowing a defending player to tackle in the air.

2 - Robbo should be proud of the performance and should go hard on the officials. The first half was disgraceful escpecially the penalty try.

Please mate, this team is capable of fantastic things. And the second half of last week they did not play to their potential.

I couldn't believe how many of our supporters said we would get flogged in this game either.

the game today was 2013 like - great defence and resolve when hammered by the sportsbet refs.we were the better team.

I'm gonna reserve my 'other' opinions until I've had a nap and a think about it.

But yeah... we were expected to get flogged and were instead up 13-12 with ~4 minutes to go. The Storm scored the majority of their points off penalties and had the home advantage.

This proved we can:
1. Ignore penalty counts
2. Take the Storm to the last minute
3. Win a premiership if 1 or 2 50:50's go our way instead of their way

Not saying we are now the team to beat, but IMO we are certainly in serious contention for a premiership with that kind of game. We had a brave plan and executed most of it really well.

Storm stole it in the end and got the 2 thanks to us.. other forces... not their amazing game. Disappointing for us only for that possible darn away game in Finals 1st week.

Far more positives to take away from playing Storm's best though. Throw in Toops, Gordon and surely they'll all be more worried about us than we are of them. Tonight we stuck together, wanted it, and it showed.

At least we proved Robbo was right when he said the melbourne team are beatable.
I just wish I wasn't proved right when I said the game managers are the true obstacle.
