  • Thoughts on tonight vs Tigers

Will OUR boys try to play expansive ala Tigers or will they play to the conditions?

    Possible standouts...

Have we ever played proper wet weather football in the past 2 years? I'd like to think they'll surprise me but I have a bad feeling about this game and every other game we play in the wet!

Exactly my point. I am hoping Pearce can lead us around the park tonight. Good completions and field position while limiting penalties. Alot to ask but thats the aim.

Kenny Dowall and Nuuausala need a lot of that sticky hand stuff tonight

That hasn't been good enough in the past. Hopefully they can both catch at speed. Another thing is I hope Linnett and BJ stay away from the sidelines, they've been cutting it close in recent weeks and with the wet there's no way they'll be able to stay in doing what they've been doing

catch, pass, run straight not sideways, kick grubbers in-goal/find open space, tackle, don't give away dumb penalties.

              sounds simple.

lets see if they get any of these right tonight lol
unlikely, but we do all of the above, we win.
              usual 2011 performance, we lose.

              go easts

KISS - keep it simple stupid

Complete our sets, forwards need to eat the metres, it's about grinding the game out

Hopefully they play with the same heart as the Jets, just came back from 28 - 10 down to beat the team 2nd on the ladder.

Wow that Auckland side had some names too. Fisiiahi Inu Seymour Latimore Rapira just to name a fee. How did Tasi go?

I'm in town and have free tickets but will not be watching. The Wallabies and that Aussie bike rider with the bum chin both have far more hope of entertaining me.

Our season is over... maybe next year?

We are the worst wet weather team in the NRL.
