and yet these reserve graders are spoken so highly of as if they are stars. nobody but Marty Kennedy and Boyd Cordner have shown anything near the chookpenner hype surrounding them. The rest are reserve graders nothing more.

Martin Kennedy did not shine after one game. He debuted in the game we got flogged by souths at the start of 09 and didn't show anything decent until round 4 2010 against the broncos the week after he got hit in the head off the kick off. He was very good in a very good team last year. This year the team is shite (just like 09) so we can't expect many superstars to come about straight away. Of course most will never live up to the hype but they should all be given equal chance to show how good they are.

I heard/read somewhere that peter sterling said he's in "some doubt" and that graham "is on standby"...i don't know how true this is but sterlo is usually right about these things, but i thought gaham was injured at the end of last week's game? guess he's recovered..well enough to play?

Bloody hell that sums up our year doesn't it? Graham shows some form, we have glimpses of a line-breaking fullback again, and then bang - injured.

yeh injuries have definitely been one of the big problems, but to be honest the whole carney fiasco was probably the worst thing this season, really took a nose-dive from there onwards...not to mention the slight changes in refereeing that have made it almost impossible for us to play our 2010 style of game and ofcourse like most other teams origin really hurt us there for a while as well...almost everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong this season, in stark opposition to last year when a few things went our way...hopefully next year we can scrounge a bit of luck and compete for the finals
