20 sets and 20 completions with 0 errors was recorded for their second half and only 2 penalties conceded is why they won - Robbo needs to drum it into them about having high completion rates/low errors and penalties conceded every game - yes improve defence and attack too of course- they put pressure on their defence with low completions rates and conceding too many penalties.
70 sets of 6 in that games - Roosters completed 29 of 35 (-20 completions and 0 incompletions in second half /9 completions and 6 incomplete in the first half) and Cows Completed 27 from 35 ( 9 completions and 5 incomplete in second half/18 Completions and 3 incomplete in the first half) - Penalties awarded Roosters 9 ( 3 in first half) and Cowboys 7 (5 in first half) - Errors Roosters 7 (all first half) Cows 7 ( 2 first half and 5 second half). Tackles Roosters 287 ( 12 missed tackles) - 96% - Cows 300 (23 Missed tackles ) - 93%
With high completions rate/low error and penalties conceded and low missed tackles - the other team can be forced into error /conceding penalties etc as they attempt to change the momentum of the game which I think the second half stats show - Cows under pressure without and with the ball as the Roosters were winning the yardage battle in the second half.Last edited by King Salvo; 07-30-2017, 12:01 AM.

High light of the game.
If the Chooks were able to continue that musle up defence over the remainder of the season they would be very hard to beat.
You know it Mickie

the turning point was the "try" by the video ref to the cowboys, it fired up the team but also fired up the crowd. The Crowd then fired the team up even more. A fantastic 2nd halfThe Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

Speaking of the crowd, what a disappointment, two games in a row we have had a sub 10k crowd.Originally posted by Kingbilly View Postthe turning point was the "try" by the video ref to the cowboys, it fired up the team but also fired up the crowd. The Crowd then fired the team up even more. no wonder the club intends to seek out other venues.
