Interestingly I felt we were gaining similar ascendancy in the 1st half but the standard or bar for relieving ruck pens is much lower in 1st halves and 2 or 3 pens completely turned the tide.

But in the 2nd half the refs rewarded our dominance by putting their whistles away. Tauks was deservedly penalised but thats it.

I've no doubt that in those 2 or 3 crushing defensive sets at about the 55min mark that if they were at the 10-15 min mark the ref would have blown the whistle to "set the tone" or some BS as per Archer's instructions.
