  • Latrell

What's wrong with the lad? In the Broncos game he wandered around in defence, often just standing flat footed or wandering in and leaving huge gaps and just seemingly uninterested. Last two weeks have been the same. When he plays like that it seems to infect the rest of the side. No coincidence the two ugly losses this year came in this game and the Broncos game when he played like that.

one player is not the reason for a heavy loss he was poor but many others were too we desperately need an extra quality prop the metres dry up without cordner

He isn't the reason we lost, the whole team went missing in that second half.

I can excuse us for the first half, but that was woeful.

in saying he needs to work on his defense, shows little interest when things aren't going his way.

Maxy Walker has been death riding Latrell for a while. Take it all with a pinch of salt.

Plenty of people on here who have just been waiting for a loss like that to push some agenda..

No of course he's not the only reason we lost. But he has days where he's not into it. Today was one of those days. Watch the replay and watch him closely in defence. You will see what I mean.

Amazing talent. But clearly a spaceman upstairs.

I wish he had Turbo's temperament and work ethic.

The inconsistency of youth it seems but the whole team was awful today.

Couldn't be more wrong champ. Have never death rided him. I only want to see him play well. When he does we go well. But no doubt he is more interested some days than others.

He's playing like a rookie struggling in his 2nd year, just like many before him.

hopefully he takes experiences like today's shocking defensive effort and uses them to learn in future

                        Gordon.

Sorry but I think our outside backs WERE The reason we lost.We have a lot of inexperience there in Manu and Mitchell and an absolutely clueless defender in Fergusson.
The Sharks targetting them and targetted them well. Manu put in a huge effort but makes some rookie errors we just have to cope with that until he gains more experience.
Its the reason and some of it is acceptible in that its rookie errors. Some of it is not

To tell you the truth the Roosters forwards are soft. Cronulla won the middle & then Maloney & their backs cut loose.

I think Mitchell thought it was all going to be a bit easier than it has been for him. Possibly because his head had been filled up by so many people calling him the next Inglis when he was dominating restricted competition.

2017 is certainly teaching him otherwise.

The big question is whether or not he's got the fortitude to step it up and find another gear. I think he does but we'll see

Roosters forwards have been soft all year - nothing new in that
