Their side still looks pretty weak even with the five changes. I think a period of NSW dominance with Pearce and Cordner leading the way is about to start.
Their forward pack looks quite vulnerable but thats still one hell of a backline.
Backline is now stronger than NSW, with Thurston back, Fifita will have to reproduce exactly the same form as game one, we can still beat them in the forwards, but it has to be a completely dominant display, or that backline has too much firepower. Have nsw named their team?

Via MMM, saying nsw team named after this afternoons game
Fifita will need another Beetson-esque performance as qld backline is far superior
Would like to see Tom turbo named over Morris, butchered a certain try today.
Oates really unlucky me thinks. Great stats after SOO1.
Backilne won't be able to play if we smash em in the forwards, Also, expect plenty of dummy half runs from Gagai and Holmes.
Origin always close, NSW won't have luxury of focusing on Cronk only (Bloody Thurston).
Playing at home. Will be a sell-out. Should get us home.
not really surprising, shouldn't of been in Origin 1.
at least he will be now available to play against the Vermin in a couple of weeks time.
I got chastised on memebook for suggesting that QLD shoulda dropped Napa and played Guerra instead. Supposedly I know nothing about footy... I asserted that it was a great call from a Roosters/NSW perspective

Just keep saying his name and he'll get picked again. He's one of those names that the commentators looooove repeating over and over... 'oh Corry Awts!!! He is a start in the making!!!'
Actually he's juat some random tall guy who has the luxury of playing for a stacked team.

From a roosters pov, the Qld team is an improvement. We get Aidan fresh for Melbourne and available for Souths, while the Storm will now also have Glasby and Slater backing up, and the Sharks will now also have Holmes backing up.

JT is JT, but the NSW backline has a bit of firepower too. Slater's been a great player, but Teddy is certainly no slouch, Hayne can win games by himself, Maloney and Pearce are in career best form, Fergo loves rep footy and was named Australia's best last tour, Dugan's always a handful ...
