Good defensive game from us. Only conceded the 1 try despite Souths having 50 inside 20's.

Still a lot to work on with the ball but we're building a really good base with our defence.

Toops, Cords & Pearce my pick of the players.

Toops came up with an awesome defensive effort early in the game after Walker made a break. He chased Walker down and made 3 tackles in a row, forcing an error on the 3rd tackle. As good if not better than any of the attacking brilliance we showed tonight.

I actually have not thought about it until you just mentioned it. But you could be right. Jennings hasn't been setting the world on fire so far. Could very well be Latrell and Bird.

Daley is all about loyalty, he will stick solid with the majority of the team that won game 3 last year

Pearce was outstanding tonight. His game management terrific. Pity about that kick.
Even though the team defence was outstanding, we missed Nugget in the ruck. Those Cody Walker breaks around marker showed us up.

Manu needs to work on his one on one defence. Missed quite a few tackles.
Robbie Farah showed everyone why Taylor got rid of him. Tried to run the show from dummy half rather than pass to Reynolds or Walker. His kicking game was pathetic.
Tetevano outstanding again. As was Cordner.
