I'm exited to see Keary & Gordon play for us. I always hated Keary playing for the vermin because in his day, he can really change a game. Not sure if he can fully replace Maloney, but he might be a decent replacement. As for Gordon, he might not be flamboyant like a Slater but he's safe and knows his role, something that Fergo or Mitchell failed last year...

I was there last year and they allow motorbikes in free anywhere. With that said it's about an hour ride on the M1 to BNE. Train would be more relaxing than holding on at 110kph for about an hour worse if it rains. Did it last year and it was winter. 👍

In all seriousness, I think there is a little too much unwarranted optimism about this game and this season. The three quarters on both sides worry me in defence and I am worried we have Michael Gordon a year too late. Also Guerra and Matterson in the backrow worry me too. Titans at home deserve to be favourites and I will be nicely surprised if we get home in this one.

It is actually an 8pm start in queensland b-b given the rest of the east coast of Australia are still on daylight savings time. In either case, an 8pm start isn't overly family friendly.

There's an article in the Tele today that says that our outside backs are perhaps the biggest in NRL history. All are around 105kg and over 190cm.

The pack aren't exactly dainty either - JWH, Napa, Evans, Liu are all big boppers...
