I wanna see Pearce pull off a brilliant play that wins us a close game.

I know it won't be a field goal.

I thought him putting cords over in the corner at Suncorp to seal the game against the broncos was pretty brilliant

I wonder why Robbo rested him when he has been resting since Rd 26 last year?

I reckon he's in for a blinder this year. I don't want to see him win is a close game. I don't want us to be in that position to start with.

these people are human beings first and footballers second that's why when you get these losers like johnny, druitt, tommy s etc calling players spastics and running crusades against them it's awful stuff to read and embarrassing

Gotta agree boogie. While I'm not singling out other posters views as I surely will criticise as the season runs, I understand what you are saying. A few of my good mates play FG and to know these guys closely certainly puts a different light on them when you hear them getting bagged publicly.

That one is the clutch play I remember Pearce executing. Sure there are others but struggling to remember them. He has probably as many try assists as any half in the last 5 or so seasons but I cannot remember too many when the game is on the line and we win. There are times when he plays a blinder and the game is already put to bed largely through his performance though.

                    I can't remember that.
Was it in a game we won when the season was already over?

                      nah mate.
It was early in the 2014 season and we were behind the broncos for most of the game. Pearce did pull that one out of the fire for us with a beautiful short ball to Cordner running a great line if my memory serves me correct. It was in the last few minutes of a pressure cooker match at Suncorp.

Im at work and on phone but if you google Broncos v Roosters 2014 round 3 you will find youtube highlights of the game. I will post the link tonight when i get home (about midnight) to this thread if remember lol.

At the end of the highlight package you will see Pearce's ball to Cordner, it wasn't that short a ball but a sensational face ball across a decoy running to Cordner running a beautiful outside in line. It won the Roosters the game with about 100 seconds on the clock at the time Cordner crossed the line.

I've never, to the best of my knowledge called you a spastic, Mitch. A dog rooter, a disgrace, an embarrassment to your mother and not a halfback's anus but never a spastic.

                            Thanks mate.
I did actually remember Moas try from that game.
Wish we got more years outta Sam.
