Just put my order in for tickets for the Titans game - hope it's a decent crowd - last few years there has been more roosters supporters than Titans - Hayne may pull some more new fans.

Titans are a genuine finals contender this year picking up Proctor in the off season and having a fit Kane Elgey plus Hayne having a full pre season, Hurrell, Peats, Taylor, James, etc.

Hard to know what's going on with form in game one, but looks like it should be a great match. If anything, might be an advantage to get them early before they can work out their combinations.
One thing I'm glad about is that, unlike previous years, we don't have to play under the hot sun. Always hard to back up after those games.Comment

Totally agree with the bolded bit zac. I think the titans will improve over the season as they get used to each other. Mate we never had the game in the bag at any stage. We were downright awful. I was there and can remember walking away thinking that was the most pathetic effort from us in a long time. Yeah I really rate the Titans too. They're a sneaky outside chance for a GF spot.
Wallace and Proctor are excellent additions to the forward pack. And Hayne has had a full offseason to form a combination with what is a great spine.
They might be a prop or two shot from being a serious contender but they'll be there or thereabouts.Comment

Agree on what you said about the effort by the boys but from what I remember, Mitchell was denied a long distance try on an obstruction that was so far away from the ball.
