My favourite David Smith moment was when he stood up and punched Darrell Williams at Henson Park in '87. Easts led 26-0 at half time and snapped a winning streak of 12 or 13 in a row by Manly. Bunny Reilly had been to training that week and our boys came out all fired up and belted them. Gillmeister was out injured that week but I would have loved to see him that fired up - reckon he would have chopped someone in half!
