Spam Threads

Hi Mods,

can you please clean up these as they are getting out of control? There are at last count 26 in the away from the game forum and 6 under other sports. It would be nice if someone could do this on a daily basis. Happy for you to delete this one of mine too when you are done.

Who are the mods BTW? I've seen one admin plus Chris (who never uses this forum, or uses a pseudonym) but no mods.

Kinda cool TBH because far too many forums get clogged up with egotistical mods/admins who hate being corrected, and/or will get over-sensitive about general banter (e.g. one mod threatened to ban me for saying 'Souffs' - not even to a Souffs fan). Another threatened to ban me for disagreeing with his analysis of a game (in which he confused Pearce and Maloney - something I got in trouble for correcting him on).

I really like the moderation here. Our admin is cool - will say insightful things, but doesn't use the 'do you know who I am?!?!?' line when you disagree with something. The mods selflessly clean out the spam and the forum just keeps going (how many years now?) Respect to the management where due here... great little forum!

The only complaint I have apart from the spammers is why haven't they banned you Jizzle? Lol its just a joke matey.
