Matterson to me seems to have his head in the clouds after the anzac game and city country. Has been terrible afterwards. Doesnt want to do the hard yards.

Im going to reserve judgement until I see him play consistently in his correct position of backrow.

Pretty sure he came to Easts because he didn't think he would get much opportunity in the halves at Parra. Maybe he is not that keen on doing the work of a backrower.

They dont all need to be 6 foot. I know Robbo likes a variety of shapes and sizes in his pack.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Roosters had a player called Trevor Gillmiester? Paul Gallen is shorter than Ennis... Josh Jackson took a while to fill ... All under 180cm.. Butcher is 184cm_97kg.. Another 3kgs would be his NRL playing weight..

As I posted in another thread all three..Mitchell ..Matto and Watson will have a seaosn under their belts and have some work to do and I expect massive improvement next yearl all there have made planty of blunder ..its just a case of getting used to first grade etc.

I agree, I don't see him as a back rower despite his bulk. He might end up as an Aubo style bench player but I think he will end up another Brad Takairangi type player

Keary yes...I wouldnt have signed him.

Watson has to be in the 17 somewhere...even super sub.
