Its easy to blame the refs but I think you need to look a bit harder take the red white & blue blinkers off & you will see the Roosters are their own worst enemy.

We won the Minor Premiership for the last 3 years in a row, including one Premiership.
This year we didn't...for a variety of reasons.

We were always going to struggle once Maloney was waved goodbye, RTS departed for greener pastures, and Pearce stuffed up.

Also, other teams have rebuilt and improved.
There truly are no easy-win games anymore, even against the Knights, who will be better next season.

Then there's the refereeing, bunker, and the NRL.....some people have said to me "a joke, and a lottery'. Others have said something else, which I cannot repeat here.

Defence in the 2nd half last night woke me up from my 2 week dream. They shifted the ball and we opened up.

Exactly why we must have a strong [Wyong] reserve grade team...like in the 'olden days' when the Turner Stand was king....and not spend our cap on just a few players.

I wouldn't be letting Hastings go either.

SST injured...that's NRL.
We must adapt...having 2 or 3 goal-kickers is ideal.
Fitzy should be busy coaching the kickers...increase his salary if necessary.
We should be able to slot a big forward from Wyong straight into the 17 in SST's place.

Players living in Sydney should be transported to Wyong training in luxury coaches/cars.
Playing for Wyong shouldn't be seen as 'second rate'.

not shortish term, if Keary/Gordon are our only two additions we don't have the depth to make the finals next year.

SST is already gone for the first 3 months.

we are only 1 or 2 injuries in our forward pack away from disaster again.
