    Hastings/matto
    Pearce/Hastings
    Pearce/Watson

Hard to get cohesion and Rythum in attack when your changing your halves so much
Add to that one of those is carrying a leg injury and you have a determining factor in our poor season
Not an excuse but just some food for thought

Next year it looks like Pearce -keary with Watson on the bench , hopefully getting 20-30 minutes of fame time. Not 3 bloody minutes.

Agree that the switching isnt helping cohesion but the season is long lost and were jyst trying to get some of our players good exposure for the future.

Liked the look of Watson last night though. Very quick on the fringes. Also certainly better than Matterson who looks incredibly lost with the ball in hand. Matterson seems far more suited to becoming a lock or wide running second rower

        Agree mate
I think all 4 young halves have shown glimpses of what there capable of and the exposure to first grade should benefit them all.
It's the week in week out grind of top flight footy that has shown through in there games though. This isn't 20's and you need to be on your game for 80min week in week out and that's where we have been let down by them but it's all a big learning curve for them.

I think we are looking at Keary at #6 and Pearce at #7 with Watson as a bench weapon. He needs at least 20 minutes a match though or he would be wasted in my opinion.

Does Watson have what it takes as a future 6 at our Club!
Thought he was really good last night in his first start in that position..
Anyone have an opinion on his potential?

I like him, the only problem is he pretty much plays a similar game to Keary, however Keary is more refined atm. Can he make the changes to his body to take the workload at dummy half long term and improve his passing game. I love his energy and willingness to run the ball. I hope the club can find a way to keep him because he has got something that has been sorely lacking from Pearce and Hastings in terms of running the ball.

Keary has a lock on that and, tragically, I am looking forward to it.

I totally agree in regards to his running game, reminds me of Wingy back in the day..
Something that stood out to me watching Connor last night was his strength, very tough given his smaller stature..

                        That's good.

At Souffs I have thought him overrated.

Now I am excited to have a much-needed attacking option.

Problem with $ouff$ players is they have a sense of entitlement and struggle with consisentcy on an even playing field.
People are happy to bag Maguire but he is by far the best thing at that club.

I hope that Keary loses his $ouff$ baggage before the starts with us.

With some of our outside backs under performing Next year i wouldnt mind seeing Watson at Fullback with Mitchell in the centres On Watson Ive always been a huge fand but his one weakness seems to be his passing game when running from left to right All his big plays seem to ome running from right to left

WATSON @ 5/8. It's his preferred position and Robbo has acknowledged it publicly. For next season Watson needs to play 80 minute games. He is the only player within our squad who has speed. If Manu gets a regular gig then it adds to our speed factor - the 2016 squad the slowest easts team I've seen in my many long years as a supporter.
