FWIW, my intuition suspects it is possible Easts has told Pearse to look for a club in 2017 and he has packed up his bat and ball and gone home. The club may be stating he is injured. Perhaps his last chance was the dog root or perhaps he has transgressed again. Or perhaps I'm speculating and dead wrong....I can sense in my ovaries that something is up

The NRL should bring in a system where a player get's injured playing SOO or an International played during the season that the club's replacement player bought in as a replacement should be cap exempt until the injured player returns so the club isn't disadvantaged through cap pressures.
