First the cliche 'I just heard from a reliable source that'.....................Jr Paulo will be at the Raiders next week (that's been well advertised). But here is the best bit,,,,,,,,Parra have not been stripped of their points yet cause apparently they have 'informed' the NRL of 3 to 4 other clubs that could be in strife over 3rd Party payments.

Interesting times ahead. Other clubs cheating isn't an excuse for their own cheating though. Surely their points will go.

Isn't Shubert currently employed by Parra?

"The NRL confirmed that the Eels would also retain the 12 points they had won in the opening nine rounds of this season until a final decision was made on the club's punishment in June after agreeing to a request from Parramatta to be given 28 days to respond to the breach notice"

I believe the day is 3rd June before the final decision is made and the points get deducted.

But there have been rumours that another club will be exposed but only rumours at this stage. The Mole suggested a couple of weeks ago that a big Sydney club was in big trouble but it was quickly sweet under the carpet. I wonder if that is because the CEO at the time who has moved into a higher position within the NRL would have to stand down from his new position and it would be extremely embarrassing for the NRL after the Eels saga.

When players like Coote or Roberts sign for their respective clubs at a 30-40% discount to what the Roosters were offering it is because "they love that club", or "want the opportunity to be coached by Bennett". The massive third party agreements that follow are "not part of the contract negotiations".

Talk about wilfully ignoring the elephant in the room! Which other big Sydney club could that bill fit, hmmm?

Sea Eagles I'm hoping. Don't they still owe Foran $$$.

It used to be us but it seems now that all off-contract players are being linked with the St Merge Dragons.

I doubt it would be us as I would hope our management would be smarter than that.

Me too, but still - if we were to take Buddy's quote of:

as truth, then you'd think its us (we're the only club with a recent CEO being placed into a senior NRL position.

It appears obvious that the quote was referencing our club and it would explain our hesitation to replace lost talent.

Obviously Buddy wasn't referring to our club. Did you forget who the recently appointed NRL CEO is?

Exactly. Why would they sweep anything bad coming out of our club under the carpet.
