JARRYD Hayne is set to become the most sought after free agent in Australian sport.
Haynes manager Wayne Beavis believes every club would love to have the superstar code-hopper on their books with the 28-year-old on the lookout for a new home after calling time on his NFL career on Monday.
In the short-term, Haynes set for a stint in rugby with the Fiji Sevens side as he presses his claims for a place in their Olympic team for the Rio Games in August.
But beyond that the two-time Dally M medallist is the highest profiled athlete without a deal for 2017 and with interest from the ARU and NRL, the fullback has plenty to consider.
A fortnight ago Jarryd was going to be an NFL player for 2016 (and) 2017 and this opportunity came up, Beavis told The Triple M Grill Team.
HAYNE LEAVES THREE SPORTS SEARCHING FOR ANSWERS
We havent had a chance to talk about plan b but Im sure there will be no lack of opportunities for him should he come back to Aus and want to play rugby league again or rugby union.
we never said he wouldnt come back to Parramatta.
Every club would love to have him. Its never been a plan b because our first option was to succeed in the NFL.
Hayne has been heavily liked with a move to the Roosters since quitting Parramatta to chase his dream of making it in the NFL.
But for now, Hayne will join the Fiji team on Monday ahead of this weekends London Sevens the last World Series tournament before the Rio Olympics in August.
Canberra star Blake Austin joins Ben Ikin, Nathan Ryan and Ben Glover on the Market Watch podcast to discuss who should be the Blues halves and everything involving the Raiders.
Beavis said the plan is for Hayne to play this weekend as he pushes for a place in the 12-man Olympic side.
Haynes departure from San Francisco follows the appointment of new coach Chip Kelly as Jim Tomsulas replacement.
Hayne was never guaranteed to return to be part of Kellys 53-man active roster with the practice squad his most likely destination for this season but Beavis said the decision to leave the 49ers was not related to the club appointing a new mentor.
Theyd sat down and had a couple of chats, Beavis said of Hayne and Kelly.
DID HAYNE QUIT THE NFL FOR NOTHING?
HAYNE RETIRES FROM NFL TO CHASE SEVENS DREAM
Running back Jarryd Hayne #38 of the San Francisco 49ers. The coach was very happy with him and his progress. Jarryd was very buoyed about it all. We had a bit of time with him over Christmas while he was back here and then discussing every second day while he was over there.
Everything was going swimmingly and then out of left field come the Rio opportunity and really got him thinking.
Beavis said Hayne was first approached by Fiji two weeks ago with the opportunity to take part in their Sevens side.
Having accomplished everything hes set out to do in the NFL, Hayne, who was the first Australian in history to receive and return in the NFL, was excited by the idea of winning gold.

Beavis said once the seed was planted in Haynes mind, it was just a matter of striking a deal which will be signed on Monday.
Its a great opportunity for the boy, he said.
Its a good thing to have on his CV for when he looks back on it later in life.
Hes achieved everything he could have at the 49ers.
He could have gone on another couple of years but would have been in the grind there as he was and this opportunity presented itself a few weeks back and we toyed with the idea and then we had a lot of work to do with registrations and visas and a whole heap of things we had to hurdle and of course we had to talk to the 49ers but in the end it all played out over the weekend.
