This must be a technique he practiced when he was in the police force to cover up his wrongdoings.

To be fair Archer has some sympathy with blokes making refereeing errors during Roosters v Saints matches.

Archer hides behind his system to say why things are correct. Fact of the matter is, everybody (with the exception of the bunker and dragons fans... even Cummins played on) didn't even think the tackle was worthy of a penalty. If the vast majority don't even think it was a penalty, how can you possibly justify putting it on report?

And yet he blew up Luke Patten in the Bunker for making decisions that confused the interpretation of the rules ???

And yet Patten was lauded by the commentary and on social media for using common sense.

Last week Paul Kent called out Archer's double-talk and said he should stop his bullshitting.

Was he ever a member of South Yorkshire police by any chance?

Archer just talks to party line , he reminds me of that Iraqi propaganda guy in the gulf war , it's just ridiculous.

Luke Phillips actually tweeted over the weekend that Archer doesn't understand the obstruction rule, and can only apply it as a black & white scenario. He lamented the lack of football knowledge being applied to the decision making process. From memory another former Ref tweeted to backed up his sentiments.

I'm nor sure if it was a direct reaction to the Patten issue or not, but it speaks volumes about Archer and his ability to be an effective Referees boss.

Only two refs like Archer - Maxwell and Cummins. That is because they are a protected species. And the other refs hate all three for it.

McDonalds in the main street of Baghdad eh? Naomi Klein lays it all out in her book. So does George Orwell in 1984 about the NRL, would they be the Ministry of Love or Truth?

I can actually understand what Archer is saying. But what I can't understand is how the bunker missed the fact that Milne's injury was a result of a head clash and that Napa made contact with his shoulder/chest area and not his head or neck.
