This is it, the boys needs to roll the dice, come out and beat the Warriors and Melbourne we are closer to the pack, its a tough ask and after last weeks performance i have no confidence in them but stranger things have happened.

I think that the coverage in the press this week will gee up the players who give a shit and not bother the ones who don't. We'll see who wins the battle of lack of wills.

        - Raiders minus Dugan.

The Warriors is our toughest game. We are a chance of 8 or 10 points over the next month which would put us at the fringe of the 8, with some confidence restored, and with players like Maubs/Kennedy/Linnett coming back.

I would only write our season off if we lose two of our next 4 games.
And all of those teams are sitting there going...

We play: - Roosters, minus talent, commitment, execution, ball handling, leadership, structure, and in some players' cases, heart.

It doesn't matter how depleted other teams are, we find ways to be worse than they are.

          Amazingly we are only 2 wins outside the top 8, if the players choose to pull their heads out of their collective arse and play the footy that we know they are capable of then we could easily make the 8. As the great Eminem once said;

"If you had one shot, one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted.....would you capture it or just let it slip..."

Come on Roosters - Fire Up!!!!!

You know Jimmy my friend, I was with you. It just didn't matter to me BUT......it matters to my son. He's 8 years old & loves the Chooks. He knows they are crap right now but he still loves them.

He cried last night when I told him I wasn't going to take him to watch the Roosters vs the Warriors this week (card night with the boys instead). He told me not to give up & to remember the "hopeless" players will be gone next year.

That's why it matters. He made me see why it matters. That's why Jim I know it matters to you.

We'll be there on Saturday night. There will always be another card night.

It always matters...that one win they guts out could be the stepping board to a turn around of form and the return of the attacking machine that had everyone in raptures last year...it's an attitude and confidence problem at the moment...the players aren't shit...I don't buy into that at all...

A lot of people bag some of our players and call them useless but they have made it to the NRL cause they have more ability and skill than every other normal park footballer does...

That's why the loss to the cows devastated me.

Win that and we are just outside the eight with an easy draw coming up.

After losing a game, if you win the next game then just pretend that you won the one you lost but lost the one you won..

Lets see if all the negative press has any effect.

Over the next month, its now or never.

                            Respectability or the spoon!

we will be going to the game.. freezing our hoohaas off.. but we will be cheering the boys on!

GO EASTS!! you can do it... just try not to drop the ball on the 1st tackle... and if you do drop it.. drop it on your foot (like that panther player did last night against souths).. then kick it through.. (like that was your intention all along)... and score a try!
