Does anyone else think we should be 2-2???? (Bunker & Referee Mistakes)

People have been going furious about one of the Canterbury Tries last Friday where the Souths player was dragged into goal and there was no evidence from the NRL Bunker to confirm a grounding.... Now, Morris puts his hand up but was not that confident at all... The referee guessed it, in which the Bunker had no choice but to give it.

Maguire was quite upset about that decision given.

However, if you go back to Round 2 against the Raiders, the exact same thing happen with the Raiders first try Soliola got over the line, both referee's were no where near the play but the lead referee ran to the spot and declared it a Try. Soliola didn't look confident and the Roosters players who were Mitchell, Napa and Evans were high fiving each other for the hold up. The Bunker could not show and evidence of the ball being grounded nor any to overturn it.

Exactly same thing as Friday, yet again it costs us another chance of a victory...

So should we be blaming the Bunker, or should we be questioning the motives of the Referee's who are completely guessing these? I think we should have 2 wins under our belts due to refereeing errors!!!!!

Bunker issues aside if we had a half decent goal kicker we would be regardless of this.

Bunker cost us vs Manly, goal kicking and inexperience cost us in both rounds 2 and 4. We should be 2 and 2.

Our the ability of our goal kickers and our ability in defense is whats cost us, these things bought the close decisions into play. The poor officials will never get everything right.

I'd recommend trying to obsess less about this stuff mate, it'll drive you mad. It's in the past, and was never in your control.

Exactly... so no, we shouldn't be 2-2 because that comes down to poor recruitment, training and team selection.

We COULD be 3 or 4 from 4 if we'd planned better and I'm disappointed that we're not. Can't blame the refs/bunker for it though - they just call it as they see it. Not a lot they can do if we play shyte and fail to convert 90% of tries.

Unforced errors, missed tackles, no goal kicker and the bunker hurt us.
