On one occasion after the at Double Steamer try was awarded, he followed the ref, explaining how it should not have been a try, rehashing the same dribble, the ref told him to go away decision has been made and he just kept babbling the numbnut ref told him on at least 3 more occasions I cannot talk to you, go way decision has been reviewed and it's a try. Lyon has another crack and to my amazement the ref blows a stop to play and decides to have a chat, as soon as this happened Lyon lost his voice and said sfa,

Lyon is my most despised player in the nrl for those reasons. What really pissed me off more than anything tonight though is that when Mitchell made a few errors and Lyon came in and have him a push and rubbed his head repeatedly, only Hastings came to his aid. No one else got in there to back him up. You can't let your young fellas get bullied. I don't think we have enough agro from our pack bar napa.

This mad me so angry. How our forwards and experienced players let the Manly players get away with rubbing Mitchell's head and yelling at him after mistakes was a terrible look of a team not united. Even though I was not a fan of him FPN was one player that would never let that happen to a young kid.

That is what is needed , someone to get sat on their arse for it , unfortunately the same one who are letting it get into our game are the same ones who have taken away the right to retaliate -catch 22 , that is why the NRLvneed to stamp it out

Walked out on his club due to "homesickness", then immediately signed a multi-year contract in ****ing England.

Came back to league, then walked out on his state because he didn't want to player in the halves.

And I have no doubt that this paid dividends with the No Try. Get in the refs mind and you all probably get a positive call. Cam Smith has done it for years.
