  • Round 9, anyone?

As much as I want to watch our young halves grow, Im thinking Pearce will be welcomed back with open arms. Every club needs someone with a big kicking game like Mitch, Hastings will get better, but we need more options. It might be a bit of a roller coaster ride this year but Im looking forward to watching it.

    The halves showed potential today.
If Pearce can suddenly transform an under performing team (something I've yet to see him do), based on todays effort we'd need him in the 2nd row.

Johns will be working overtime with kicking practice. Friend might have to try to add another aspect to his game, who else can kick big?

I like the halves, but gee niko is tiny, he needs to hide somewhere in defence.

I think we would have only got beat by more if Mitch was in the halves.

I'm over him there and I think we need to watch these youngsters grow and learn from experience. Their talent and footy smarts exceed Mitchell I have to say.

Enjoy the ride...it will have some bumps.

Rudderless and disorganised without Pearce and/or Maloney.

Long kicking game was non existent.

We sorely missed Pearce's defence, organisation and kicking games. Nikorima is a work in progress. As he should be at this stage. I hope Pearce feels like shit right now. And I hope he's ready to rip and tear when he's back.

We missed Pearce's long kicking game but we were never in that game.

Pearce's long kicking game will save us?

All it would of achieved today would of been giving Inglis many an opportunity to display his kick returning prowess.
Pearce always serves 'em up on a platter for the opposition back 3.
