Can't say I've heard this supposed desire of Cronks before, but with Pearce's future at the club beyond this year cloudy at best, could the stars align and land us Cronk for a year or two from 2017? He'd be a good mentor for Hastings and Nikorima not to mention the fact he could potentially win us another title before becoming part of the Maroons coaching staff.

Knowing Robbo he would be more than happy to move Niko back to utility to target tired forwards and keep Hastings and Cronk in the half!
